Final Entry

So I just realized that I have just over 500 comics up now.
I think it is a bit funny actually that “Chewing the Scenery” was actually comic 500. I had been watching the numbers closely, and then lost count for a bit during the Server change. Today I looked at the numbers and there I was at 501.
I am really happy that I have made it this far, I thank all of you who have stuck with me, and those of you who are just joining us.
The best has yet to come.
(Okay “Doctor WHAT!?!?” may be hard to top.)

So is there anyone out there that would be interested in doing a guest strip of Everyday Gods? I found out that my computer is going to need an extensive amount of work, and may not actually make it. So as my computer savvy friend tries to fix the computer, and I try and find an alternate way to do the comics, I could use help. This is also an opportunity to bug other artists you like, to make a guest appearance here. Just don’t tell them it was my idea. ;)

Yup, my bad luck has continued.
After finally getting the site working after the server move, the computer that I draw with, started locking up. Luckily a friend of mine is looking at the computer. (One who was a guest star in the comic before.) I would thank him by name but I haven’t asked if he is okay with that.
Anyway, instead delaying updates, I asked if Ishmael was willing to draw a few comics. Yup, this would be the Ishmael who became the new demi God/were-rat. And as the good sport he is, he accepted. I really appreciate him doing this for me.

It is almost upon us, that convention known as Supercon.
What is Supercon you ask? It is a wonderful little convention that is centered around the idea of having a comfortable weekend with friends of old, or friends to be. People gather to talk, game, craft, watch movies, and generally have a good weekend with interesting and fun people.

I will be there, for many reasons, one that I really enjoy the convention, two I help run it. One of the things that I will be running, is the Pool Party on Saturday with my wife Jules. Hint, Nerf guns will be involved.

Also, at the art auction, I will be auctioning off a chance to guest star in an up coming comic, so be prepared for that.

If you are not already coming, and this sounds like something you would enjoy, there are still rooms available. Check out the web site:
www.supercon.info

I would love to see you all there, and perhaps meet some readers that I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting.

So I just found out that today is “Squirrel Appreciation Day”.
So the current storyline is even more appropriate than I thought.

And if anyone is wondering, yes this storyline is based on real life experience. A couple of months ago, Jules and I had a rash of squirrels running through our room. In fact it did eat the box to a “Wizard of Oz” Pez set that was going to Ishmael for Christmas. We ended up catching seven squirrels.
